Titans Vs Wolfpack Grand Final Results Posted by JohnBoy - Monday, August 11 2008 |
Well the time had come, both the Titans and Wolfpack to play off in the Cyber Connection Double Header Tournament. Wolfpack were used to playing in Final Matches however the Titans in the past had been unlucky to miss out by usually getting knockout in the Semi's. The Titans worked very hard all Tournament to make it to the Grand Final and it wasn't going to stop there. The Titans re done all of their Tactics and done a lot of changing around as they were hungry for a win. The first map the Titans started off very well, we kept to our plan and that was to control the middle of the map in Snakeyes which allowed us to get the Flags. We left a hard Flag till last and Wolfpack made it very hard for us to get it but we did get the Flag winning the first map by 5 Flags. The second map the Wolf's knocked it up a notch and made it very hard for us. This map ended up being a draw for both teams. The third map was another tuff nail biter which went down to 9 seconds. To note on this map, Legionnaire pushed right around Wolfpacks Flag Bay to stop Sertified in the dyeing seconds with a Flag and saving it and with Ice getting a Flag and running home only to be nailed by Wolfpack which took the Titans a lot of deaths and teamwork to bank the Flag to win by a Flag. At this stage the Titans knew we had won the Final as we had won 2 maps and had a draw with Wolfpack however the Titans didn't stop there. The last map the Titans pushed very hard, we were too strong for Wolfpack in this one able to win it by 7 Flags. Overall score Titans 3 maps to Wolfpack 0 maps and a drawn map. Well done to all members of *AUS*. Although the Australian Community in Delta Force at the moment is a small one, *AUS* was able to split its squad into two small groups very evenly and still show that we are very dominate. Congratulations to Xtreme in getting 3rd place and a big thank you to all the other squads that competed in the Tournament. Finally a big well done to the Titans |
