*AUS* Wins The BattleGrounds Grand Final

*AUS* played last night against .� in The BattleGrounds Black Hawk Down Team Death Match Final. *AUS* went into this game the under dogs with whom had been beaten twice by .� in the rounds. Never the less we were going to give it our best shot.

The first map saw .� take a lead and held it for quite some time before we pulled together and were able to get in front to win it.

The second also saw .� get a very big lead but somehow once again we turned the tables by some great retaking of PSP's and raping to win the second.

The third saw us take control from the beginning and kepted a big lead all way through the map to win that one and the Final.

I would personally like to thank .� on a great game as they played their best as usual and also to the *AUS* guys. No matter how far behind we were, we continued to fight and succeeded.

*AUS* Vs *AN* Results

We played *AN* last night in the second round of the OGN's S&D Tournament.
We knew *AN* wern't going to be easy and we tried to counter that with some good tactics but *AN*'s tactics were just better then ours on the night. They were able to beat us 2 nil.

Well done to *AN* on a great game.

After Ice-Cannon Retired from the Delta Force Division, it was decided that he would become a Life Member. This has now happen and can be seen in the Hall Of Fame.

A Big thanks to everyone who voted in the last poll in reference to a Flash Intro.
To my surprise, more people voted that they would like to see a Flash Intro.

The Final Votes were:
Yes - 64
No - 53

Although we have never had a Flash Intro, we may do in the future.

Our next poll is about the New Novalogic Official Community. Personaly I think its great but all people think different so vote away.

Promotions, Medals and Welcomes

This weeks Promotions are:
Gunny from CPL to SGT. Since Gunny has been in the squad he has done more then his share of work both on the Battlefield and off the Battlefield. Well Done Mate.

COW from LCPL to CPL. COW is now back on Broadband and is now more active then ever. Another asset to the team.
Well Done.

Night Wolf from PTE to LCPL. Night Wolf has been in the squad for quite sometime now and this guy just loves being part of the team whether he plays or not. Keep up the good work.

Crucificator from PTE to LCPL. Our only O/s player in the team which makes him playing matches at all different times in his Country. For his efforts this is recognized.

Medals:
Snappy receives the LW Leadership Medal. He should have had this ages ago but was overlooked: p

SexyBabe receives the LW Leadership. Once again another person who was overlooked on this medal. SexyBabe ran and organized *AUS*2 last year when we entered 2 teams into some Tournaments.

Gunny receives the BHD Conspicuous Service Medal. Yep he has more then earned this lol.

*AUS* would like to welcome our newest member to the Squad and that is MadDog. More of a new comer to the DF scene but this guy has potential. Welcome aboard MD

Battle Results

We played three BHD Matches Yesterday. The first two were against ~81st in the DFNCL BHD Tourney. We hosted the first game and it was CTF. *AUS* was able to win the whole 3 maps in this game.

The second match, ~81st hosted and the Game type was TKOTH. This was a much harder game with us having to battle with LAG but to our credit we were able to take the zone in all 3 maps winning the entire game.

Our third match was played last night in the first round of the OGN's S&D Tournament against the new comers APC. These guys are a fairly new squad and they sure did put up a top fight. We were able to destroy all nine Targets in the first map to win it however in the second APC quickly countered our tactics and were able to win that one. In a count back of Targets, *AUS* managed to get one more target then APC.

It was a very good weekend for the *AUS* Lads here and I am sure we will do our best to keep this winning streak happening here.

We had another big weekend with matches. We played ~OZI~ in the DFNCL LW event beating them 4-0, it was a great effort from ~OZI~ but we had it all over them. Thx goes to Sharky for hosting again.

The next battle was with *AN* a very strong BHD team. We beat them 4-0 also. Once again *AN* fought hard and never gave up. This puts *AUS* up against AE in the Final for The Battle Ground BHD tourney event. Once again we would like to thank DIG.AE for hosting.

*AUS* Played two matches this weekend, early in the day, coming out with one win and one loss.

First up was LW CTF against *TW* in another round of DFNCL. We played 5 vs 5 on our server, which saw us winning all maps 3-0. *TW* are a tough bunch, who made it a good game despite them being mainly a TFD squad. Cheers *TW*

Our second game was a *CSF* hosted Knockout Razorball tourney. We were against ~DDH~ on their server, best of 5 maps. ~DDH~ definately made good use of their lag advantage and beat us 3-0 though it was a competitive bout. Thanks ~DDH~

On another note, there have been two recent resignations from DF *AUS*: Ice Cannon and WildCat. All the best guys.

*AUS* have taken on 3 more new recruits for a trial.
We have Archer*AUS*, Reaper*AUS* and RED*AUS*. Welcome to the squad guys and i hope ya's have a ball with us.
