*AUS*A vs *AIF*

Summary
*AUS* Players- JB, BFG, SB, FB AND SPECTY
AIF Players- SAS, Nemesis, Butt, Ibis and Gumby

Well this was the night AUS was waiting for. We had put so much time and effort into training mainly for this game. We all had our positions clearly defined and a great plan.

MAP 1.
The timer hit zero and we were off charging for the zone, at this point in time our blood was pumping like mad waiting for the first round to go off. BFG managed to get into the zone while the rest of us got into position. FB was cutting them to threads with his m4 while Specty was finding it hard battling with Nemesis out on the right flank. JohnBoy was up the front waiting for AIF to come charging into the zone only to stop them in their tracks with the good old FN Mag. I couldn't believe it, the zone had reached around the 5 min mark and we were kicking some serious butt. RW was going off with information being past forward and back all the time. AIF knew they couldn't clear the zone from there
Front so they kept flanking us and it worked. They cleared the zone at around 5 and half minutes. The match kept on going as it was a TDM for ages until about 5 mins left in the map when we charged the zone and got it. There was about 3 of us in there for a little while until about a min and half left when AIF stormed giving everything they had to clear us and that's what they did. We quickly respawned but unfortunate there was not enough time left to get it back allowing AIF to take the first map.
FB was outstanding on this map with 1.16min zonetime and 23 Kills and 11 Deaths.
Nemesis was also good with32 secs and 31 Kills and18 Deaths.

MAP 2
Well after that last map we were all upset as we held the zone for most of the map only to loose it in the dieing min of the map. However this did not distract us from our mission. Once again we started off pretty well with FB and JB holding the Big Hill hitting AIF with 400 - 500 m shots while BFG headed for the zone. The game switched zones for most of the game but we did hold it the longest. In the dieing seconds again Gumby got into the zone and hide pretty well as SB, BFG and Specty couldn't find him and held it till the clock stopped.
BFG done very well in this map with 13.10 mins 11 Kills and 18 Deaths.
SB also done well with3.11 mins and 32 Kills and 15 Deaths.

MAP 3
After losing the two last maps we were furious with of how the outcome was but I reassured everyone that we had played very well and even though we lost the game we still had played probly our best game ever and we were determine to win this one. Specty and SB got into the zone while BFG cleared the trees to make it easer for FB to deploy his M4. SAS and Nemesis took up positions on the hill and made it very hard for us to get into the zone until JB got up there and took control of the it and basically held it for the rest of the map. The map went on and on like a TDM game again until everyone except myself got in there towards the end and held it. SB and BFG were medding like crazy to keep us in there while AIF once again just kept charging and charging the zone sending AT'4s in. In the last minute they cleared two of us then another one who I think it was FB who got murdered and the other killed to loose it once again and AIF taking control and holding it for the last 30 Secs.
SB did extremely well in this map with 8.49 mins Zone Time and 51 Kills and 21 Deaths.

PLAYER SCORE KILLS DEATHS
BFG 26.04 38 72
Specty 25.47 50 62
SB 17.16 117 56
JohnBoy 10,19 88 45
FB 5.38 70 43

Well what can I say, we lost but we gave it our best and although the final result doesn't show it I think we were the better team on the night but were just unlucky which can very easy happen in TKOTH. This would be the best game we have played in ages. Meds were doing an awesome job, RW was non-stop and assaulters were assaulters. It's back to the drawing board to work on a couple of things and to make sure we beat all other teams to get into the final.
Firebird receives the Player Of Match award, well done mate.
