*AUS* vs S16
After a continuing saga of not showing up (lack of communication)
then, the host going AWOL and left us dog paddling in the last three
maps (wrong maps). Then finally they showed to play the last 3 maps
with only 4 players and no host. JB to the rescue. *ÅÚ§* were
victorious 5 - 0.
Map 1 Desert Prison
S16: KAVA, one, TC, Fleash
*AUS* B: Specty, Ghost, Stiiixy, Jackel, DeathStar
It was a well fought map this one with some excellent close
quarters combat in the prison building. DeathStar snatched 4 flags
but suffered some deaths trying to gain entry to the building as
Fleash and one were assaulting us heavily. Stiiixy wasn't far behind
with 3 flags and a similar problem in getting to the building.
Specty, zGhost and Jackel did a great job in holding them off long
enough for us to collect all ten Flags and win the map 10 - 6.
Player of the Map: DeathStar for collecting 4 flags given the
assaulting power of S16.
Map 2 Misty Field
S16: KAVA, one, TC, Fleash
*AUS* B: Specty, Ghost, Stiiixy, Jackel, DeathStar
We used stealth amongst the mist to collect the eight flags and
limiting S16 to just 3. DeathStar went wide left to collect the
hardest flag first with success. Aided by Jackel who assaulted well
from the middle hill. Ghost and Stiiixy also played well by
collecting 3 and 2 flags respectively. Specty bought up the rear
with just 1 flag. It was a good team effort and *ÅÚ§* deserved this
win.
Player of the Map: Ghost for collecting 3 flags and saving 1.
Map 3 Desert Dunes
S16 : EE, S, TC, Revi6:8
*AUS* : BFG, SASR, DeathStar, Balistic, Ghost
I gallant effort by S16 but we were too strong for them. We won
hands down. SASR went for the hardest flag first but was hindered by
a "SASR is Dead" glitch kill. He finally got there and brought home
the bacon with 2 flags with DeathStar covering his ass. DeathStar
also bought home 2 flags ended up with the good kill/death ratio.
BFG and Balistic got in the flag grabbing act, and safety got a flag
each. A good team effort by *AUS* restricting S16 to only 2 flags.
(probably the closest 2 flags…lol)
This sealed the match for us with two previous wins. We were home
and hosed…..

Map 4 Hills and Valleys
S16: EE, S, TC, Revi6:8
*AUS* : BFG, SASR, DeathStar, Balistic, Ghost
Once again we overpowered S16 with some great shooting. They
eventually got the shits with us and started complaining but we took
no notice and fought on. BFG excelled himself in this map with 2
flags and a good kill/death ratio. DeathStar also snatched 2 flags
right from under their noses. Not sure but either SASR or Ghost
(hard to tell from RW), did well to cross the battle line to
retrieve the hardest flag with success. Mind you the journey home
was via China. Lol. Both SASR and Ghost got a flag each. Well
Balistic was playing but just creating the diversion I think….

Map 5 Tunnel Hunt
S16: EE, S, TC.
*AUS* : BFG, SASR, DeathStar, Balistic, Ghost
They didn't give up in this last map. The fought hard but to no
Avail. We wiped the floor with em 6 flags to 1. BFG was giving em
heaps and whilst DeathStar and SASR collected 2 flags each. Ghost
and Balistic were assaulting decoys lol. DeathStar had 5 major CI's
dieing each time and was revived the first time and had no primary
weapon. It was not to be found and ended up with one one of the
oppositions M4 after nading him. We were on the last flag and S16
were protecting it like an old mother hen. They had 2 in the tunnels
just sitting there waiting for us to try and snitch it. SASR tried
twice to nad the suckers down the turret hole but only succeeded in
blowing himself up. With no armoury - no satchels - we just had to
put our lives on the line. We eventually penetrated their resistance
and bought the last flag home. A good team effort - well played by
all.
