On the 09 Mar 02 AUS played TAG in the next round of the Team King Of The Hill tourney. Aus played as red and therefore had to host with a former member (freerange*AUS*) taking care of that, so thanks for that.
The turn out for the pracs leading up to this game where very good with an average of 12 players turning up to help the team train for the match.
AUS won the match 3-0 with an outstanding performance from all those that played and that helped in the lead up to the match.

MAP 1 Ghost Town

TAG PLAYERS- Taipan=TAG=, K!ppa=TAG=, Hando=TAG=, O2=TAG= and Faceless=TAG=.

In the first map AUS went straight for the zone and never looked like letting go, with players dedicated to the zone and the others working as protection it pretty much became a one sided affaire. TAG only once came close to grabbing the zone and holding it but where soon over run by AUS players with the taste of blood.
With the game almost won and about 40seconds left on the count down TAG managed to grab the zone but where over run once again.

In this map both teams where a little slow out of the box with it taking about 1 ½ mins for someone to get into the zone, but once AUS was in the zone it was pretty hard to get us back out again. Once again using the buddy system worked and worked well with the map being won quiet convincingly. The resolve of the AUS team showed as the TAG team dissolved as they found it very hard to clear and keep the zone.

Once again this map was well to say the least a bit of a one sided affair with both teams changing there line up around slightly saw some new players come in for a bit of a rumble. So with the match already won the only thing on the minds of the players from both sides was revenge and pride.
With AUS taking the map with a little bit of a fight being put up too win the match 3-0 well done AUS.
