AUS B vs AN (TKOTH TOURNEY) *AUS* Players: Sexybabe, lordoth, MickDundee, Maverick, Rev AUS sat around in the warm-up match waiting for AN players to join and as it was towards the end of the match some started to join but it was looking to be 4vs5 in AUS's favor. AN opted to forfeit the match but we would see none of it. AUS was here to play, no matter who was undermanned. Ghost town saw us all running towards zone and holding it fine. It was looking to be a promising start, with lordoth, sexybabe & Mav doing a good job with medical saves. AN's zone time was getting to the dangerous area but we were unable to find a AN player who was hiding in one of the buildings well so AN managed to hit the winning zone time of 8:00. The 3rd map saw Deathstar take over from sexybabe. Both teams managed to hold zone to around 5:00 mins but then were cleared as it came down to a race for holding the zone at the end of the match. Rev hold zone well in 'certain' hiding spots, so did deathstar, Mick and lordoth. Mav also held the zone well as he made medical saves with lordoth. Deathstar managed to hold the zone in the last minute, as a rocket from our team flew past his shoulder, we were lucky he wasn't killed as the zone would've been cleared and the game would've been lost. A great effort by all. The 2nd map had to be replayed at a later date due to an AN player cheating but they were unaware that it was in the rules. For this map our team was Sexybabe/Deathstar, lordoth, Maverick, MickDundee and HornyDevil. Everybody generally did a lot of nice killing and the zone may have been guarded better but this is something the B team can work on. Mick performed well with the highest zone time for *AUS* B but also the rest did well holding off the enemy fire. Good work to lordoth and HornyDevil as being useful as medics, making many well-needed revives and putting their bodies on the line for a teammate. The last 5 minutes really saw the game heat up as both teams rushed to hold zone and in the last minute lordoth was the only person in the zone keeping to total nice and healthy and it was looking to be our day once HornyDevil arrived as immediate backup. But lordoth was knifed and left HornyDevil to try and hold the zone for the last 30 seconds, but sheer numbers proved to be too much for HD and a nade was the ultimate downfall, clearing the zone time and leaving *AN* with a healthy amount of players in the zone and too little time for AUS to make it to the zone. Well played by both teams and this match was a good one in the 2nd map as it was so nail-biting close. |
