Team King of the Hill maps
(ghost
town, mayan ruins, jungle kings)
were
used in this friendly. And finally we get a lag free server, with
only minor problems (patch associated mostly):
Round 1 Ghost Town:
Both teams
off to a great start (with Zak the first kill 8-), but AUS proved
too set and moved in to take the ring. A constant assault and changing
tactics kept us on our toes and as a result our timer constantly
reset to zero. ABA favoured their right flank and used the gully’s
to good effect, protecting themselves until they sprung us in the
zone and peppered the buildings which housed our soft, prone bodies.
Some great feedback from Zak relaying what ABA movement he could
see and some stealth and raping on Snappy’s part kept them dancing
like ballerina’s. Shado kept his M4 warm and snipers off our backs
whilst SB and myself played med in zone. S was constantly under
fire by the ABA snipers, but he held steadfast, despite the blood-loss.
The times are only big because Aus couldn’t keep the zone which
only shows the tenacity ABA had when it came oo the crunch. Truly,
ABA kept up a great assault and were rewarded with zonetime, but
AUS were just too strong this round.

Round 2 Mayan Ruins:
It was a
hassle to approach the zone with sniper and assault gun fire zinging
around your ears. With S dropping from the game to come back as
sniper we were down one man for a few, but ABA seemed not too worry
too much about the zone until later in the game. Shado was our only
sniper until S returned and they played well, with Shadow racking
up some good times too. It was amazing how ABA could be one place,
then another as they popped right out under your nose and this kind
of tack saw us lose the count twice so very close to the 10 minute
marker. Medics were in demand this round and we lost much precious
time, with Silver taking charge on the opposing hill to take down
any potential zone clearers and myself constantly running out of
medpacks in a mad rush to dope everyone. Zak mate, I only have enough
to keep you alive, nothing more 8-). Snappy went walkabout and assaulted
ABA’s base, which is by no means a walk in the park (Central Park?),
and finally came to terms with his creator and asked for some assistance
off the opposition. Nice one mate.

Round 3 Jungle Kings:
This was
not to be as ABA decided that the 2 wins was enough, and called
it quits. I guess they didn’t like us wiping their asses 8-) Thanks
ABA for the game. Next time will be your server and you can wipe
our AUS’es off the map.
