CTF
Oceanic Final
Well the big day had arrived, *AUS* were very keen to get onto the
front line & drill some holes the enemy.
Map 1
The timer was counting down to the start of the war, you could feel
the tention in the air. The clock stopped & we were off, Camo
& Sl@ headed right centre, Balistic went far right back to try
his hand at the 50 cal, SB / BFG headed left, while FireBird was
not too far from spawn with his M4. The first minute went well
for us as there was lead going in all directions. Camo & I did
not have a real lot of luck heading that direction as we were cut
down time & time again, FB was finding the going tough as he
was dukeing it out with some of the best m4ers in oz. It was 3 or
4 flags to *AIF* before we got our first flag in the way of BFG.
We struggled like hell to even get near the other flags but was
always coming up short until Camo stagged a flag not too far from
the end of the game. SAS took our last flag from under our noses
& took
his sweet time getting back to put us out of our misery. *AIF* was
way to strong for us in this map.

Map 2
We entered this map with our tails between our legs, did not know
what went wrong in the previous map, this game was a lot more
even as we had a wake up call. FireBird did a good job keeping them
of our backs, I did what I could as a MEDIC, but it was tough.
It was fairly even all the way through this map
as it was flag for flag until we had a dead lock at 5 flags a piece,
no 1 could do anything about capturing there last flag, some fine
work by Balistic with 2 flags carrying a 50 cal & Camo
had a shadow follow him
around most of the time to give him life when needed, BFG/SB worked
well together as they did a fine job spotting the enemy & relaying
to the rest of the squad. The time ran out.... was a draw
- well done.

Map3
We started off well in this game with 3 flags then *AIF* got their
first. SB/BFG/FB was back & forth taking control of the main
hill while the rest of us went left & tried to take the hard
flag first, but that flag was not
gettable as *AIF* swamped that area. Before long it was 4 to 3 our
way & was looking promising but with the enemy hiding like chickens
down the bottom of the stairs - it was imposable to get in there.
Most of us died & at that moment 2 flags were grabbed by the
enemy, so we were of on a man hunt. 1 flag was retrieved but the
other was lost. At this time it was 5 to 4 the enemy's way, we did
what we could to get a flag to try to tie the game up, but they
had the area well covered, it was a very tough game again &
*AIF*
came out the victors. Good work by us but just not good enough

Great job guys, but just not good enough. There has to be a winner
every time & there is no doubt that we will be there again soon.
2nd best in the land ain't too bad.. :)
